Hmmm, don't know if I buy it that the coins are cleaner than the bills, but they can at least be cleaned. I suppose bills can get washed but it's easier to clean the coins.
I applaud your experiment and read every entry with avid interest. My sweetie is joining in on your experiment. The other day the most dollar coins he could get at the bank was 14. They wouldn't even go in the back to get him more out of the safe/vault/whatever. Lame. Can you post more information about how you ordered a large quantity of coins? Thanks!

We ordered them directly from the USMint, unfortunately they did want some form of money in exchange.
